At eBikeStories.com, we stand behind the quality of our products and are committed to ensuring your satisfaction. Our warranty policy is designed to provide you with peace of mind and protect you against manufacturing defects. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities under this warranty.

Warranty Period and Coverage

All eBikeStories.com products are covered under a 2-year, all-inclusive manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects for the original purchaser. This warranty is automatically registered upon purchase and receipt of the product.

Note: Free accessories provided with your purchase are not covered under this warranty.

Warranty Transfer

The warranty is transferable to a new owner under the following conditions:

  1. The 2-year warranty period has not expired since the original purchase date.

  2. The new owner provides the original purchaser’s name and order number.

Covered Products

Our warranty covers the following components, subject to the terms outlined below:

1. Frame

  • eBikeStories.com frames are covered by a 2-year replacement warranty.

  • This warranty includes the replacement of the frame only. Labor costs for transferring parts to the new frame are not included.

  • Replacement frames may be sourced from scratch-and-dent stock or replaced with a compatible style/color if the original is unavailable.

Exclusions:

  • Corrosion, paint fade, scratches, or impact marks.

  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or non-reversible modifications (e.g., drilling or welding).

  • Chain guard damage, if applicable.

2. Batteries

  • eBikeStories.com batteries are covered by a 2-year prorated warranty.

  • Defective batteries will be repaired or replaced at no cost during the first 2 years. The warranty period for repaired or replaced batteries remains tied to the original purchase date.

Exclusions:

  • Damage from accidents, misuse, improper storage, or exposure to liquids, chemicals, or extreme conditions.

  • Use of unauthorized chargers or tampering with battery seals.

  • Use of the battery in equipment other than the eBike for which it was designed.

3. Parts & Components

  • Spare parts and components are covered by a 1-year warranty.

  • Defective parts will be replaced upon verification of the issue. Customers are responsible for shipping fees.

Exclusions:

  • Damage from accidents, misuse, improper assembly, or exposure to moisture, heat, or chemicals.

  • Cosmetic damage, scratches, or dents not caused by manufacturing defects.

  • Regular wear and tear (e.g., tires, brake pads).

Warranty Claims Process

  1. Submitting a Claim:

    • All warranty claims must be submitted to support@ebikestories.com.

    • Include proof of purchase (order number) and photos/videos of the damaged product.

    • Before filing a claim, contact our support team, as some issues may have simple solutions.

  2. Shipping Damaged Items:

    • If your product is damaged during shipping, notify us within 7 days of receipt.

    • Provide photo or video evidence of the damage to support@ebikestories.com.

  3. Replacement Process:

    • Defective displays, batteries, motors, and controllers are eligible for replacement.

    • Customers are responsible for shipping costs, typically ranging from 

      35to

      80.

    • Free accessories damaged during shipping are not eligible for replacement.

  4. Credit Card Chargebacks:

    • If a credit card chargeback is initiated and the eBike is still in your possession, the warranty will be invalidated until the chargeback is resolved.

Important Notes

  • eBikeStories.com will not replace any component without first reviewing photos or video evidence of the damage.

  • Labor costs for part replacement or installation are not covered unless authorized by our after-sales team.

  • Regular wear and tear, as well as damage caused by external factors (e.g., collisions, weather, theft), are not covered under this warranty.
